And let’s also tip our hats to the other fine men and women in service who made significant contributions to this episode:

To help you celebrate, here’s a cool image of the Ring Ship getting blasted from the winning episode (click for hi-res). Also, a previous post on Dath Mojo went into detail about the Emmy Submission for this episode – read it by clicking here.
An exquisite laurel and hardy handshake must also be extended to Executive Producers Ron Moore, David Eick and Supervising Producer Harvey Frand for winning the Emmy for Outstanding Special Class – Short-format Live-action Entertainment Programs. What does that mean in English? That the Young Adama skydive sequence from “Razor” also took top honors (it aired as a special short-subject on Sci-Fi Channel leading up to the broadcast of “Razor”). Here’s an image from the effects work in that sequence:

All in all, I’d say this week – the 30th anniversary of Battlestar Galactica – is off to an excellent start!
Congrats, indeed.
I’m glad the show is taking home some trophies where they can, since BSG has been utterly ignored in the “primary” categories (acting, best drama, etc.)
Congrats! heard about it not to long ago, and its well deserved.
Congrats to all of you guys on the BSG Effects Team! The Emmy is well earned and deserved. Now if only we could appreciate your hard work on Blu-ray Disc… ;)
Holy crap! How did I miss this? Congrats all around!
Congratulations!!
Were you involved in the winning episode, Mojo?
I believe that thou (deliberately?) misquothest The Title by incessantly saying He HATH Believeth in Me:

BTW, how does one assemble such a set of closing credits? Money? Power? Promise of eternal life?
Congrats to the whole BSG VFX team!
Hmm, looking at that shot of the ring-ship, I just had a thought – What happened inside the ring when that part of it was destroyed? Is the whole ring de-pressurised? If not, it would’ve been cool to see some kind of isolation system deploy inside the ring. Irrelevant to the plot, but cool to see :)
Hindsight is a Hellish thing, isn’t it? And so are schedules and budgets. :(
