To be honest when you compare the Cylon to these cardboard stormtroopers its pretty easy to say this or this(cylon), there really is no option but the cylon. try showing them beside a proper fan made stormtrooper outfit for a more fairer comparison!

Dont get me wrong, i love BSG new and old but i’m also a star wars fan also. The 501st are also the largest costuming orginsation who raise a hell of a lot money and awareness for charities.

Perfect Cylon, check out your local garrison on the legion boards you may very well be able to join up with your Cylon cossie. I know the United Kingdom Garrison has a Reel Icons section where movie/televison character costumes a cleared for trooping/events etc.

I have one of the most accurate Cylon suits out there. I am a complete fan of Battlestar but, hacking on the 501st really isn’t cool. I am familiar with them and they do a load of charity work for thier communities while giving all proceeds to great orginazations. If I were not a Cylon, I would certainly consider the 501st!

It’s easy to point fingers at Stormtroopers and yell “nerd” while having no clue what they’re about. I recently attended a child’s birthday party with my local group of Stormtroopers. Laugh all you want but for our 15min appearance the family donated $1000 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Now that means something. Not to hate on any Cylon costumers. Just don’t point at someone else and ridicule their hobby when we’re all not that different.

Are you serious? You’re only a “true” fan if you “man up” and buy an original set of Cylon armor for (I presume) many thousands of dollars? Go Frak yourself.

Maybe you ought to check your ego a tad.

Not to bad mouth Kropserkel, but like Scott I couldn’t own a Cylon that wasn’t accurate. His design not correct (mostly the back pack) I did the only thing a true Cylon fan could, and bought a screen used original Cylon. Now that is what life is about for a true fan that can man up to that task.
